A 42" square deck, supported by buoyant Styrofoam beneath, creates a dramatic floating platform, while wooden ladders on the front and back give nestlings a safe and steady path up to the house. The floating body allows ducks to step—or simply slip—straight into the water with ease. The hexagonal shelter provides a roomy interior, just right for a mother waterfowl and her ducklings. If you wish to house two duck families, an optional interior partition is included. A tall roof adds extra height to help regulate interior temperature, and 9" tall arched openings make coming and going easy and natural. Topping it all off, a galvanized metal cap crowns the lapped roof, lending a touch of rustic character.
